Our desire to make healthcare accessible to the children, guardians and neighboring communities of Bufundi Sub-country, drove us to launch the first health center.

What once was a classroom at Kishanje Highlands High School turned into JAM’s first Clinic HEAL (Healthcare Empowerment for Abundant Living) with a patient clerking and examination room, treatment room, and pharmacy dispensing room.

This inspired the first hired nurse to pursue further studies in the medical and health care professional fields and to set up other two medical centers in other parts of Western Uganda.
